July 26–29, 2007
Holiday Inn Select, Koger Center, Richmond, VA
$160/person before July 15 (see website for detailed rates and info)
Unsatisfied with merely touching briefly on topics of mutual interest,
attendees at the Mid Atlantic Pagan Leadership conferences determined to explore
in-depth training courses for deeper organizational growth. Four organizations,
Carolina Spirit Quest, DC Radical Faeries, Open Hearth Foundation and
SpiralGround, have worked collaboratively to design a training conference to meet
these needs. These organizations have invested time and money to make this
dream manifest.
Experienced professionals from the Pagan community present classes
specifically tailored to meet the needs of covens, churches, groves, circles, land
sanctuaries and community centers. This conference will provide the intensive
"nuts and bolts" training necessary to create, maintain, and strengthen local
Pagan initiatives.
The 2007 PLSC courses are as follows.
Conflict Resolution
Pastoral Care
Publicity and Promotions
Group Facilitation
Nonprofit Accounting
Board Development
The leadership topics are slated annually on a rotational basis. Thus, this
year’s list of topics is not guaranteed to be offered each year. New topics
are developed and presented based on regional input, so please offer your
feedback.
