Many of us have, at one time or another, wished for a stronger and more  
effective Pagan community. We have dreamed of a community with robust  
organizations. We have sought to create more and more ample community resources.  We have 
worked for meaningful connections and networking. 
This July in Richmond, Virginia - we now have a unique opportunity to take  
part in an event which can help us reach all of those goals. It is called The  
National Pagan Leadership Skills Conference, and it is an event The Open 
Hearth  Foundation is proud to co-sponsor each year. 
Bringing together Pagans from all across the country, the National PLSC is a  
four-day gathering for networking, resource sharing, and in- depth training 
in  the "nuts and bolts" skills necessary to create, maintain, and strengthen 
local  Pagan initiatives. 
Specifically designed as a resource for our most important asset (our  
people), the National PLSC is a targeted teaching conference for all those in  the 
trenches working to create a stronger Pagan community, be they teachers,  
activists, just now considering the start of a group, or already hard at work  
maintaining one. This conference is for them. 
This year the National PLSC will take place from Thursday, July 26 to Sunday, 
 July 29, and offer in-depth training in such community critical topics as  
Publicity & Promotion, Group Facilitation, Conflict Resolution, Accounting,  
Pastoral Care & Board Development. 
In addition to individual attendees, we also encourage all existing  
organizations to set some funds aside this year so that they can send a delegate  to 
this important intensive in community organizing and development.  Reservations 
are $160 per person before July 15, and $175 per person thereafter  (group 
rates are also available).
